2023 Summer Season Team Registration

The primary Team Captain should fill out this registration form by fielding a team(s) in the upcoming 2023 USTA NorCal Junior Team Tennis Summer Season. You are NOT able to register a team below if your Safe Play status has not been completed or recently expired.

The Team Registration Deadline is May 31 at 12 PM Noon PST

The Player Registration Deadline (Minimum of 4 players registered on your Tennislink roster) is June 7th at 12 PM PST


Step 1 - Complete this registration page

Step 2 - You will receive a confirmation email summarizing your team(s) registration form

Step 3 - A USTA staff member will register your team(s) online and email you a TennisLink Team ID number for each team within 3-4 business days. (Submission over a weekend will be processed on Monday)

Step 4 - You will use your TennisLink Team ID number(s) to begin player registration and manage your team. The player registration cost is $32 per player

Please Note:

  • There is no cost to register a team
  • You can register multiple teams all at once using this form
  • Make sure you are familiar with your travel league area days/times of play and roster size requirements before registering a team. Teams must be committed to playing at the day/time specified for their area
  • All USTA JTT Captains, Co-Captains, and players 18 y/o must be cleared via Safe Play prior to the season and be compliant throughout the duration of the season
    • You are NOT able to register a team if your Safe Play status has not been completed or recently expired
    • If you don't know your current Safe Play background screening status, look up your name in the cleared coaching database by clicking here
    • If you do not find your name in the database it means you have not been cleared to Captain or your Safe Play background screening has expired and you must renew
  • If you have Co-Captains helping out with your team, please do not list them below until those individuals are Safe Play cleared to Captain as well. All Co-Captains must complete a Safe Play certification prior to the start of the season

Facility/Program Information

All teams must designate a Home Facility and be able to host home matches in order to participate in the league.
How many courts are available at your facility for JTT matches? (For Example: If your facility has 16 courts, but you can only play on 8 courts at any given time, then list your max. # of courts as 8).

Note any special facility information (Example: no blended lines for orange ball, park in a certain area when playing at our facility, there is a dress code, etc.)
List any special scheduling requests you'd like to submit for your facility. (Example: If you cannot host home matches on a certain date due to a tournament/event, or can't host 2 matches at once and always want to have 1 team away and 1 team home, etc.) USTA NorCal staff will do our best to accommodate scheduling requests but due to the volume of requests we receive, we may not be able to accommodate them all.

Please Note: Captains are required to add another Safe Play approved Co-Captain if they have two or more teams in the same division. Parents and/or volunteers are required to be Safe Play approved in order to assist a team.

USTA NorCal JTT Staff will do our best to group teams in flights based on ability level. Captain feedback is necessary and appreciated.

For Example: My 10U Orange team is mostly beginners that have not played JTT or tournaments before. I have 2 - 12U Green teams and Team A will be players that have played many tournaments while my B Team is mostly intermediate level players that have not played much competition.

Looking for players to fill your team(s)?

We get regular inquiries from interested players/parents looking for a junior team or program to get involved with and we'd like to put them in touch with you! 

But first, we need to know if your program/team is open to new players.

If you have openings, let us know more information below and we'll notify interested players in your area to contact you about your team/program.

For example: (I have 4 teams but I'm only looking for 1-2 players for a 12U Green Ball team, or, I'm looking for any new players regardless of age division)
